Making A Splash at Impressions 2020

MagnaColours attended Impressions in LongBeach in January 2020, highlighting the benefits of water-based printing and announcing the new addition to the MagnaColours product range.

MagnaColours made a big splash once again at the Impressions Expo 2020 in Long Beach California. Underneath our giant screen on stand 2009, our sales team met with customers old and new, discussing the benefits of water-based printing.  Attendees were able to see the high-quality finishes and special effects achievable with MagnaPrint inks up close, and also find out more about how to make the switch to more environmentally friendly water-based printing.

At last year’s event, we previewed our MagnaPrint Killer Base ink. A water-based under-base designed to improve the handle and print quality of Plastisol prints. This year we didn’t just announce one new product – we announced an entire range! MagnaTrans water-based heat transfers, a new complete water-based transfer solution was launched live at the event.  Our heat press ran non-stop over the three days, demonstrating our new range that includes high stretch performance bases, printable adhesive, special effect inks and digital transfers. The new MagnaTrans range will be available from MagnaColours in February 2020.

Also on the stand this year was the ITO Range of functional finishes and fabric dyes. Andy Lee (Dyes and Chemicals Manager) met with attendees to present and discuss the extensive range of products available in the range now from MagnaColours.

Away from the MagnaColours stand, both M&R and Nazdar Source One ran live printing demonstrations using MagnaPrint inks. From Hybrid Fusion digital prints to high solid Aquaflex, and the new Migration Blocker Black – attendees were able to see MagnaPrint in action and take away print samples from the exhibition.

We want to thank everyone who attended and came to the stand to say hello, it was a pleasure meeting you all.
